Designer Paul Smith aims to combine his very Englishness with a bit of the unexpected. In this bag, he gives a rather traditional shape a jolt with color and pattern that just barely misses being psychedelic. It’s the subtler hues that give this bag a calmer feel and I think the look is charming. The swirl pattern is printed on a soft Italian leather, accented with brushed gold-tone hardware. It has a large zip top closure under two buckle straps with magnetic closures. Inside, the bag is lined in cream colored canvas and has a cell phone pocket as well as an additional side pocket.
