I can not even rag on Britney Spears because it would just be wrong. She is a mother of two attempting to find her way in life and just got out of rehab so I have to be nice. So nicely, can I tell you something Britney? The blue contacts do not suit you, rather they are a tad scary. The hat is understandable because you need to hold the wig in place. The shirt, ehhh. The shorts are too short and they are velvet or velour or some material needed for fall or winter. The boots are not flattering. And the pinkish metallic shade on the handbag does not match your outfit at all. I am not sure of the look you are going for, but I am still rooting for you! Was that nice? I tried at least. But let’s get to the matter at hand, can you ID Britney Spears bag? Time to play Name That Bag!

The Desperate Housewife does have hair that puts mine to shame. After leaving Ken Paves Hair Salon (yep the Jessica Simpson BFF Ken Paves), Eva Longoria was photographed sporting long wavy locks and a chic new handbag. At first I could not ID the new shoulder bag, but something kept ringing a bell. And the bell was the Mulberry bell. A brand new bag on the Mulberry scene is the Mulberry Hanover Bag, which gives a laid back feel with its oak Havana leather and chunky hand stitching. There is a Mulberry bush on brass buckle on the front pocket. Laid back and perfectly understated for the gal with Ken Paves hair-do. Buy the bag via NAP $1195.

Looks like many more people are accepting Jimmy Choo’s handbag designs than before. Recently seen on Victoria Beckham, the Jimmy Choo Foldover Clutch has popped up for nights on the town and red and orange carpet events. At the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Hilary Duff showed up looking perfectly put together in a yellow dot dress and paired it with killer heels and the Jimmy Choo Metallic Foldover Clutch. This clutch is perfect with a sheen Italian leather, chunky goldtone hardware, and a removable wrist strap. Jimmy Choo is making a name for itself in the handbag world, finally (after many failed attempts). The clutch in the version Miss Duff carried is $825 through Saks. Via Fab Sugar

A couple weeks ago I committed a handbag fashion crime; I identified a bad wrong

. Do not do that! It makes the handbag gods angry. The handbag that was ID’d wrong is the stunning Givenchy Nightingale. Little Miss Ashley Olsen was seen sporting a black Givenchy bag. But a very subdued version of the bag has caught my attention, the Givenchy Metallic Nightingale which touts gold metallic leather. This satchel has two leather handles and a detachable shoulder strap, obviously the handbag add-on must have! There is not much to this bag, but it is liked by many for its simplicity and plush leather. Brown and black leather are also available, yet if I were picking one I’d go between this gold metallic with its slight shimmer or the understated black. Which combination has your attention? These days you can look totally chic on your way to and from the gym. My problem is that when I leave a work out, my hair looks like a total scary mess (lots of random curling etc), my face is red, my body is tired, and my clothes most def do not smell great. I see a celeb photographed leaving a workout and they look stunning, each piece of hair in place, big smile, makeup, and ready for a paparazzi snap. This must be why I am not a celeb, I can’t do that. Sarah Michelle Gellar looked stunning on her way to (please tell me not from) a work out last week toting the beautiful Lanvin Kentucky Tote. This tote bag is oversized (measuring 16″x16.5″x5″) and features soft supple leather and brass hardware. When casted for one of the lead roles in The Devil Wears Prada, I was not sure Anne Hathaway would be perfect for the part. But this pretty gal who was known for Disney roles stepped up to the plate and became a fashionably chic woman on a mission. And now in her everyday life, Hathaway brings in a little fashionable this and a little fashionable that to let the world know she still knows how to dress. Simple in a black outfit at LAX, Anne Hathaway adds a Tory Burch Patent Leather T-Tote to make her outfit pop. Well, looks like I made a HUGE mistake when it comes to handbag fashion; I misnamed a bag!!

Totally my bad for not looking into it further, I just assumed I had the right information, and we all know that when we assume we make an ass of ourselves. The proper identification for the lovely bag Ashley is sporting is the Givenchy Nightingale (as pictured better above). This stunning bag is available in black, gold (stunning!), or marron. Similar to the reported Rive Gauche but so different, the bag does also have a detachable shoulder strap and two handles. Via Barneys for $1895. If you are going to mirror your fashion after an Olsen twin, by all means pick Ashley Olsen. Mary Kate looks like a train wreck most of the time and although Ashley’s style manifests some deep rooted anger at times (kidding!) it is totally wearable. After a dude breaks up with me, I begin the post-breakup binge eating. Chocolate, cookies, brownies, ice cream, carbs, and any other comfort food. Surely I look nothing like Cameron Diaz does post Justin Timberlake breakup. An oddly jovial Diaz has been snapped on her way into and out of a work out regime that gets her body looking like it does. Chizzled abs, toned arms, about 2% body fat in all the right places, Diaz is taking a stance to shove it in JT’s face. Too bad JT is getting on every single (and not so single) gal out there with equally great assets. For early Friday fun, can you name either of the bags Cameron Diaz is carrying? The yellow work out bag may be harder to ID, but how about the chic black messenger. Happy Friday all, Name that Bag!

Poor Ashlee Simpson, doesn’t look anything like herself anymore, she resembles more of a wax figuring than the pretty teenage girl we remember her as. Regardless, name the bag she’s toting around!
