Louis Vuitton Antigua Navy Striped Cabas PM

A little bit of ocean, beach, yacht, sand, boat, lemonade, sailing, or whatever suits you for summer, is just around the corner. I have a thing for a preppy clean cut look, it reminds me of going to the country club and charging many mini-pizzas and candy onto my parents account. Yes, I was that kid that skipped tennis lessons and went to the pool to order food. A handbag that makes preppy summer feel like it is here is the Louis Vuitton Antigua Navy Striped Cabas PM which boasts cotton canvas with contrasting dark shoulder straps and striped lining on the canvas. On a simple beachy bag, there are engraved golden rivets and a golden logo plate. The dimensions are perfect for your summer bag, 9″ L x 8.5″ H x 2.3″ W. I can picture myself throwing this bag on my arm, putting on some oversize frame sunglasses, a white skirt, and Lacoste shirt. Perfect mental image of a preppy outfit for a preppy summer bag. Louis Vuitton Damier Geant Bags For Dudes

When it comes to man bags I very partial to Louis Vuitton. This preference may be blamed on the LV Dersou being my very first high-end bag ever, but I think it’s also due to the simple fact that Vuitton manages to create such wonderful, irresistible pieces. While being in the market for a new addition to the slowly growing collection, I have been eyeballing the Louis Vuitton Loup (bottom picture) and the Belier (top), both from the Damier Geant line. While the Loup could function as a smaller daily messenger, the Belier would do really well with my Nikon D70S I got mid-last year (even though it is lacking inside compartments for lenses and other accessories). Both range around $750-900 in price and while I have a crush on both, I could use your opinion on which one to get. By the way, I am mildly confused why LV lists these two bags in the women’s bag section, they have masculine written all over them.

Regardless, both Vuittons can be bought through eLuxury’s exclusive Louis Vuitton boutique.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Speedy

To keep white and lights clean is hard for most and nearly impossible for many. I owned a stunning Coach Tote which had a light blue suede stripe and cream colored canvas. I bought it for my trip to Europe three years ago, hoping I would look chic and I would not be devastated if it got dirty. The tote was stunning while it lasted, and then it started to get dirty. First on the four bottom corners, then on all edges, and it was all downhill from there. This was after 4 months. I put it in the washing machine (insert laugh now). RIP Coach Tote. I swore off light bags then. But right now a creamy delicious LV bag has my attention, and if I do not trust myself enough, there is a dark version available too. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Speedy is designed with monogram mini lin canvas which is feminine, light, and a perfect addition to the LV Speedy line. Available in either dune or ebene, this speedy is trimmed with leather and features shiny brass metal hardware. There is a zip top closure with a mini padlock (not heavy like the Chloe Paddlock) which opens to textile lining and a small patch pocket. At eLuxury there is the size 30 right now. Be daring and go light, or be safe and go dark. Buy through the Louis Vuitton boutique at eLuxury for $675.

Louis Vuitton Dentelle Kirsten

After the mess that was heard round the world, the Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag, LV is still trying to redeem itself with more limited edition handbags that they hope will sit better with the world. This is where the Louis Vuitton Dentelle line comes into play, the line touted as the lace underwear line. Oddly enough, Marc Jacobs named the Louis Vuitton Dentelle Kirsten after Kirsten Dunst. She is not in my mind what I would consider the romantic, elegant, prim and proper gal (that is unless we are thinking of her in Marie Antoinette), but Marc felt the need to pay homage to her, so be it. The Dentelle line itself has me on a fence, do I love the 18th Century inspired lace look or is it totally tacky? It is subtle, but I do believe to appreciate the beauty you would have to be up close. Under the lace is LV monogram canvas, which is not really fitting with delicate lace. But it does the job. Help me jump from one side of the fence to the next; Yay or Nay on the Dentelle line and WHY? Inquire through Louis Vuitton about availability and pricing.

Snoop Dogg Style: Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy

Typically I would not think that Mr Snoop Dogg and myself would own the same handbag. But seems that we have similar style and both took a liking to the LV Damier Speedy. While walking through the hizzle, Snopp D-O-double-Gizzle sportizzled his Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy along with a blueizzle shower cap. That is how he rolls. Snoop has rapped about his LV belt buckle and something about a glock before, but now he needs to add a line about his Speedy.

I got the Louis Vuitton belt buckle, holdin’ tha glock

No beam, no silencer, I know when to pop’

Buy it through eLuxury for $620.

Mischa Barton Style: Louis Vuitton Rivets Handbag

Other than the fact that she is sporting a total “Who me? Duh! Oh” blank stare/open mouth pose, Mischa Barton actually looks really good in this picture. She pairs a simple gold heart necklace, with a turquoise covered jacket, flowery top, and a stunning Lv bag. Mischa Barton was seen sporting the Louis Vuitton Rivets Handbag. The leather version of this bag is really funky and edgy, sporting black leather along with gold rivets and stud detailing and a Louis Vuitton logo plate. I’d love to get my hands on one of these bags, so I think I will make it ok to take it from Mischa when she is not looking. If she keeps dating duds that look like they came off the streets, she is not worthy of such a fine bag. Shop for Louis Vuitton exclusively eLuxury’s Louis Vuitton boutique.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Porte Monnaie Rond

Owning designer bags is not a cheap. There must not be many women that do not carry a handbag, but I am sure not all of these women carry designer handbags. Start off with more affordable pieces and build your way up if you are trying to break into the scene, or if you are already in it, just keep on keeping on! I have a mini love for the Louis Vuitton Mini Lin line. A chic circular design, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Porte Monnaie Rond garners cunning attention with creamy dune canvas, grained calf leather trimming, and a golden brass zip closure. Not a huge round, but the 2.75″ diameter provides enough space to store some mini goodies. Through eLuxury for $195.

As always buy online or check out your local LV boutique (shout out to LV Bal Harbour!)

Louis Vuitton Monogram Rivets Accessory Pouch

Louis Vuitton is constantly releasing new lines and bags which rivet some people’s likes and not others. Personally, the Monogram Rivets line appeals to me in a smaller bag, and BOOM, there is one on eLuxury now! The Louis Vuitton Monogram Rivets Accessory Pouch sports the monogram canvas pattern with a “Louis Vuitton Inventeur” brass plaque and brass studs all over. Add a little bang to an already well loved line and you get a hit. An outside zip pocket tops it all off along with a removable leather strap. Wear it as a mini bag or carry it as a clutch. Love this one and love the size of 8.3″x 5.1″x 1.2″. Move quick if you want this bag online, eLuxury for $675.

If you are around South Florida, call up or visit the great folks at Louis Vuitton Bal Harbour to inquire further about this line!

Louis Vuitton Emprise Collection Serrure Pampilles Bracelet

I figure I might as well continue the day with some other overpriced accessories; like I mentioned overpriced in the realm that I would never splurge on them. Take jewelry for example. I will spend great money on an amazing pair of diamond earrings (I recently did and could not be happier!). Great cut, amazing clarity, amazing color. Some brands out there are going to over charge because the box they come in or the name that you can blurt out when someone asks about your ring, earrings, necklace, etc. Some brands are worth it (Heart on Fire, you have my heart!), some are not (little blue box with a diamond inside=overpriced). Not that I am not a huge Louis Vuitton fan and not that I do not believe that Louis Vuitton uses exquisite materials in their creations, but the Louis Vuitton Emprise Collection Serrure Pampilles Bracelet sure seems overpriced to me at $3,350. I would rather spend that money on diamonds. The bracelet I absolutely love; it is so simple. The white gold clasp is reminiscent of the lock from the iconic LV trunks and the double leather laces give a playful feel to the piece. I guess my argument would be different if i had the money to buy this bracelet, wait, I take that back; If I would want to spend this much on this bracelet. But the 14 grams of 18k gold seem to really be going for a price tag that is over the top in my opinion. Love the idea, love the final product, but not the exorbitant price. Via eLuxury for $3350.

Let us know what you think, is this much too much or am I just being cheap?
