Yes, we all know the Silverado. Today I am not mentioning this beauty as if you don’t know about it, but to tell you that the Gold is actually quite a bold and beautiful color and it fits in perfectly with my metallic need of the day. Those of you who are yearning for a trendy metallic bag don’t even think of not considering the Chloe Metallic Gold Silverado Satchel. As dull as it may be, I am going to list the features of this bag (because for many of us it will be old news). And you thought Metallic Friday was over… wrong again! After seeing King Kong last night (alright movie, not awful-not great), I nearly froze on the walk back to the car. And I figured that chances were when I woke up in the morning there would still be no sun- and that just made me angry. Nevertheless, I woke up to grey cold skies. So if you are reading this, I have a message for you Sun. Dear Sun: If I left you behind in Florida by accident, don’t be mad at me and please please come up north for a little bit. But either way, I am continuing with shiny bags for today also.

It seems that in today’s world none of us can live without cell phones. In fact, if any of you can- I’d love to hear about it! Mine broke for 2 days and I nearly just cried (ok you got me- I might have shed a tear or two

And you thought this day of shiny goods was done?! No way, I was just a little slow to get started. I am a huge huge fan of Tod’s. Way back when I remember thinking their bags were too simplistic and no one would know exactly what I was carrying. With quite a bit of time and a little more sophisticated view on fashion, I realize that is part of the appeal of Tod’s bags. I love them. The Tod’s New Girelli East/West Bag is a bag that will last through the ages. Many of us question if metallic bags will remain in style, and I can’t think that a bag like this will go out of style. Made with a golden metallic finish, this textured leather bag is stunningly simple and elegant. My favorite extra to this bag is the flap top closure which is innovatively closed on both sides of the bag by locking ball-snaps. Don’t ask if it would be a pain to get in or out of, because I don’t know- but if any one of you knows I would love to hear what you think! You can opt to carry the bag with the rolled leather handles or there is a detachable leather shoulder strap if you want the bag to hang lower. I love the option, because that way you can wear the bag wherever on your body that you want (hey, I won’t give you a hard time if you wear it on your head or strap it around your waist like a really really big fanny bag

). On the inside you will find textile lining and two open pockets and one zip pocket.
