While I do not talk about Louis Vuitton all that often, the past day or so I have been on LV overload. The main reason is because I have my mind set on a Wapity and I finally ordered it! I have been realizing that I need the perfect small accessory to take with me when I go out at night to a bar or dancing, and why not let it be Louis Vuitton. But on my fix of LV I ran into the Louis Vuitton Berlingot. Someone please help me ID the kind of icey that it resembles. Remember when the ice cream truck used to come through your neighborhood (I know those were the olden days) and there was a Popsicle like icey that came in a case just like this. I always got it and you had to cut the top off. Ok that rant had nothing to do with this accessory. So back to the accessory. The piece is actually named after a candy from Carpentras and is made with the Monogram Multicolore canvas with natural cowhide trim. Take a guess at who designed this little number? None other than Takashi Murakami who is known to make some funky creations for Louis Vuitton masterminded this piece. Other features include shiny golden brass hardware, microfiber lining, and the key holder tucks away into a zipped compartment. Overall this fun shape measures 3.3″ L 4.7″ H x 3.3″ W. Just because it reminds me of running to catch the ice cream truck way back when, I am giving this cute accessory thumbs up. Buy it through eLuxury for $235.

I feel like my brain is not quite working properly today, because I know that the shape of this bag distinctly reminds me of another bag, but I can’t put my finger on the bag for the life of me. HELP! Anyhow, I am in love with this bag for some odd reason. The shape of the Etro Floral Patchwork Flap Shoulder Bag is alluring along with the differing floral patterns and prints. You will find shades and hues of olive green, teal, and light blue on floral printed leather along with lizard embossed leather trim. Etro seems to draw me in many times with their flaunting designs. To carry the bag there is an adjustable lizard-embossed leather shoulder strap with an 8″ drop. Inside you will find purple satin-finished textile along with a zipped pocket for your goodies. The focal point of the bag that really brings it all together is the square shaped large gold metal buckle. Overall the bag measures 11.5″ x 5″ x 2″. I am still having a bit of a brain hole, so help me with the shape of this bag. I know you will pull through for me. Something about this flashy bag makes me want to click my way over to eLuxury and buy it for $975.

Personally, I despise smoking. Most of that may be because it makes my clothes reek and I can not breathe when I am around it. I am an asthmatic so smoking is the last thing on my mind. But by golly if you are going to smoke, at least carry your ciggs in style! For yet another Pointless Post, I bring you the Louis Vuitton Cigarette Case. Seriously how much more chic could you be? It has been a while since Viewer’s Choice Monday has graced us all with its presence! (Don’t forget to email me or post in the forum what you would like to see!!!) Thanks to Heidi for writing in for her choice. Heidi has been reading long enough to know that I am not the biggest fan of Fiore, but wants to know my opinion on this Fiore bag. The Isabella Fiore Cut-Out Leather Hobo is not completely my taste, but is definitely one of the better Fiore’s I have seen in a while. The cut-out style of this bag adds some dimension and evens out the possibility of the bag being too over-the-top. For the underlay, there is bronze which shows through the cutouts and perforations. On top of the underlay is, of course, the overlay (lame attempt at a joke, I know) of brown Italian leather with tan topstitching and vintage brass hardware and stud accents. Pulling the bag together is a zip top with tassel ( I think I would chop the tassel off, it is too much for me), shoulder strap with rings, a tab with a buckle at the bag’s base, and measures 10″H x 17 1/2″W x 2″D. Let’s hop into this President’s Day with a little American spirit (here is where all of you who are politically correct may cringe a bit…) Nevertheless, a camouflage bag has a bit to do with President’s Day, don’t ya think?? Yea, just humor me… I have been really sick and all these meds can not be good for coherent sentences and thought processes. Starting off this holiday Monday is the Michael Kors Camo Desert Shoulder Bag. The bag is functional the style is funky. Along with the camo print, there is dark brown leather trim with tonal topstitching which is set off by golden hardware. For a little more storage, which I find I always need, there are two front buckle-flap pockets. The shoulder strap has ample room for you to adjust it to fit it loosely under your arm with golden clasps. Finishing off this bag is a drawstring top with studded leather loops, which ensures that your goodies will not fall out unless they are very very small. If you are into camo and into President’s Day, pre-order this bag via Bergdorf Goodman for $795.

Fine? Damn fine, to say the least. The New Tod’s Girelli East/West Bag in White Leather is the sexiest plain white bag I’ve seen in a long time. Perhaps only Valextra come close. The gorgeous, Italian made bag goes for 1,200 bucks, which isn’t that bag considering its size and total, undeniable sexiness.

P.S. The Girelli also comes in golden metallic (I’m so over metallic, though) and the funky zebra print. The white is still my undefeated champion.

When Megs discovered this particular piece at Zappos, I got really excited. Living in Germany and Germany happening to host the Soccer World Cup this year, this athletic little number brightened up my day! I’m not going to come here and pretend like I am a true soccer fanatic. Nothing like that really, but I have been following the WCs very closely in recent years and get just as excited as the common soccer nut when it comes to the playoffs. Brasil is my favorite team. Actually though, to me it’s more about seeing amazing soccer. Like all the other 1.5 billion people who watch it, I guess.

First and foremost let me apologize to all of you for the lack of updates and my somewhat dissappearance from the forum and blog. Not only have we been working on a huge server move, but I am also sick and can’t seem to kick it. Yikes. But I am still here and still want you all to know that! Also too, if you have sent me an email in the past few weeks (yikes even months) there seems to be some mail mixups! I will be trying to fix all of that and answer those emails ASAP. Let’s all give Vlad a big round of applause for keeping the site running great and having it make a nice transition in the server move. Now, if only I can start to feel better and catch back up.
