Marc by Marc Jacobs Chalk Stripe Denim Faridah

I can’t deny the fact that I am a huge huge huge denim fan. It is actually kind of shameful how many pair of jeans I have bought recently. Shameful because I really don’t need them and they aren’t making my wallet that happy. But you better believe my legs and tooshie appreciate these denim beauties

. Knowing that denim is in, some designers have taken a stab at denim bags. The Marc by Marc Jacobs Chalk Stripe Denim Faridah will remind you of a train-conductors uniform along with signature marks of designer Marc Jacobs flair. Designed from soft, chalk-stripe denim canvas along with weathered leather trim, this bag is simple enough for everyday wear but still has enough style for everyday wear. Accenting the denim is aged brass hardware. What brings the most fun to this bag are the two front flap pockets that show off buckle closures. Many times less is more, for this bag that is true. The bag features rolled leather shoulder straps, a folded top closure, and the inside is finished off with cotton twill and a zipped pocket. Overall this denim slouchy bag measures 14.5″ x 11″x 4.5″. What do you think of this denim accessory? Buy it via eLuxury for $358.

Bottega Veneta Velvet Shoulder Bag

When I think of Spring, velvet is not one of the first things that comes to mind. But that doesn’t stop me from loving this bag. The Bottega Veneta Velvet Shoulder Bag shows off a bit of a Western vibe with its metallic leather trim along with lush Blush velvet. Perfectly cute for a dress or jeans, the bag shows off a silver flower chain handle. I keep seeing westernized themes popping up and while some of them are not my style, some of them do catch my eye and leave me feeling a little more Southern than usual. On the handle there is yellow leather trim and both sides of the bag show off a plaited leather design. On the inside, Bottega gives you lush blue suede and an internal pocket. While this bag does not immediately come to mind when I think of Spring, it looks absolutely posh. Buy it through Net-a-Porter for $1650.
