Dylan & Dillion Handbags

A while back I had been corresponding with someone who led me towards a newer company. This company is Dylan & Dillion. The story line behind the designers hits home for me. There is nothing else I would like to do than start a company with my sister. It is just the problem of thinking up the company. But Dylan & Dillion had an idea and it came true. ‘All the fabric used in creating Dylan & Dillion handbags and apparel is silk screened with original hand carved relief prints and then professionally sewn in the United States’- which is of course a mighty plus. You all know that my heart melts when I see an elegant and stylish bag. Let me introduce you to some new bags that I have my heart smiling.

First there is the big and beautiful Peony Suede Hobo in Light Pink. This large hobo is perfectly feminine with its hand-screened raspberry blooming peony print on the front. The body of the bag is light pink suede. While I know suede is hard to keep clean, this bag is too beautiful to pass up. I’d get the bag and treat it extra special. The inside is lined in mocha colored suede and there is a zipped pocket. For carrying, there is a leather strap with large gold buckles. Light pink, raspberry and mocha seem like a perfect combination of colors if you ask me. This hobo is not lacking in size; the dimensions are 14 ВЅ” H x 17″ W. Available through Dylan & Dillion for $350.

The more I talk about bags, the more you will all realize my love of clutches. Anyone ever hear me rave about a good clutch before? I bet there are many cyber head shakes. Along with a great clutch, comes my love of great colors. The Dylan & Dillion Freesia Suede Clutch in Marine is the perfect color combination of my favorite color (a shade of blue) suede with a detailed carved chocolate brown freesia print. On the inside you will find divine mocha suede lining and an inside zip pocket. This clutch closes with a hidden magnetic closure and measures 5″ H x 10″ W. Ah there is a place in my bag-heart for this beauty. Buy it for $116 via Dylan & Dillion.

And last, there is the Poppy Suede Shoulder Bag in Camel which can easily be used for day to day wear. This shoulder bag shows off its hand-screened chocolate brown floral poppy print on top of its supple camel suede body. Accented with gold hardware and an orange leather strap, this shoulder bag can add the perfect touch for nearly any outfit. Like the others, the bag is lined with mocha suede and has a cell phone pocket and zip pocket on the inside. Overall the bag measures 8″ H x 15 1/2″ W and can be purchased through their online store for $210.

Check out the rest of the beautiful bags!

Chloe Dune Ballerina Slipper

For many people bags and shoes go hand in hand. For me shoes are a new found love. While I was growing up, both in age and height, I began to feel a bit uncomfortable about my height. I finally stopped growing when I reached 5′10 and around that time I also finally began to embrace and love my height. Just because I can’t always wear huge heels (they would make me taller than most), doesn’t mean I can’t obsess over cute flats. I am on my quest for the cutest flats of the season, so give me your input. Today I ran into the Chloe Dune Ballerina Slipper. Yes, like I said before, I am obsessed with Chloe. These ballerina slippers are made of a dune colored satin and show off feminine front straps with ties. The big clincher for me is the flat heel. Now, I am falling for Chloe shoes. Anyone else think this could be a perfect shoe for spring/summer? Available via Bergdorf Goodman for $490.
