Paul Smith Swirl Mini MP3 Case

While people don’t talk about iPods as much anymore, most of them still have at least one. I have 2 different iPods. The shuffle which is great for working out (ehhh who does that?!) and the new video iPod (which I have yet to set up from Christmas). Either way, many of us iPod owners love an iPod case. For a fun pattern with lots of color and attitude, the Paul Smith Swirl Mini MP3 Case adds a boost of light and fun to your precious music maker. This case is designed with a plethora of colored grained leather and has a front flap with a snap closure. There is a belt loop for wherever you would like to attach his case for ease of carrying along with cut-outs for your headphones and other cords to fit nicely out of the case. While the actual name of this case does not say iPod rather MP3, the description does say that the “Gusseted sides expand to fit any regular-sized iPod with click wheel design”. Clearly this case was made with Apples chicest and most influential design in mind. What cracked me up about the description was the mention that ” iPod not included”. Oh really?? Who would have thought that?! Buy this case via eLuxury for $195.

Dylan & Dillion Handbags

A while back I had been corresponding with someone who led me towards a newer company. This company is Dylan & Dillion. The story line behind the designers hits home for me. There is nothing else I would like to do than start a company with my sister. It is just the problem of thinking up the company. But Dylan & Dillion had an idea and it came true. ‘All the fabric used in creating Dylan & Dillion handbags and apparel is silk screened with original hand carved relief prints and then professionally sewn in the United States’- which is of course a mighty plus. You all know that my heart melts when I see an elegant and stylish bag. Let me introduce you to some new bags that I have my heart smiling.

First there is the big and beautiful Peony Suede Hobo in Light Pink. This large hobo is perfectly feminine with its hand-screened raspberry blooming peony print on the front. The body of the bag is light pink suede. While I know suede is hard to keep clean, this bag is too beautiful to pass up. I’d get the bag and treat it extra special. The inside is lined in mocha colored suede and there is a zipped pocket. For carrying, there is a leather strap with large gold buckles. Light pink, raspberry and mocha seem like a perfect combination of colors if you ask me. This hobo is not lacking in size; the dimensions are 14 ВЅ” H x 17″ W. Available through Dylan & Dillion for $350.

The more I talk about bags, the more you will all realize my love of clutches. Anyone ever hear me rave about a good clutch before? I bet there are many cyber head shakes. Along with a great clutch, comes my love of great colors. The Dylan & Dillion Freesia Suede Clutch in Marine is the perfect color combination of my favorite color (a shade of blue) suede with a detailed carved chocolate brown freesia print. On the inside you will find divine mocha suede lining and an inside zip pocket. This clutch closes with a hidden magnetic closure and measures 5″ H x 10″ W. Ah there is a place in my bag-heart for this beauty. Buy it for $116 via Dylan & Dillion.

And last, there is the Poppy Suede Shoulder Bag in Camel which can easily be used for day to day wear. This shoulder bag shows off its hand-screened chocolate brown floral poppy print on top of its supple camel suede body. Accented with gold hardware and an orange leather strap, this shoulder bag can add the perfect touch for nearly any outfit. Like the others, the bag is lined with mocha suede and has a cell phone pocket and zip pocket on the inside. Overall the bag measures 8″ H x 15 1/2″ W and can be purchased through their online store for $210.

Check out the rest of the beautiful bags!

Chloe Dune Ballerina Slipper

For many people bags and shoes go hand in hand. For me shoes are a new found love. While I was growing up, both in age and height, I began to feel a bit uncomfortable about my height. I finally stopped growing when I reached 5′10 and around that time I also finally began to embrace and love my height. Just because I can’t always wear huge heels (they would make me taller than most), doesn’t mean I can’t obsess over cute flats. I am on my quest for the cutest flats of the season, so give me your input. Today I ran into the Chloe Dune Ballerina Slipper. Yes, like I said before, I am obsessed with Chloe. These ballerina slippers are made of a dune colored satin and show off feminine front straps with ties. The big clincher for me is the flat heel. Now, I am falling for Chloe shoes. Anyone else think this could be a perfect shoe for spring/summer? Available via Bergdorf Goodman for $490.

Jessica Alba shows off new Coach!

As reported by The Bag Lady, little Miss Sexy sported a new and gorgeous Coach bag at the Kid’s Choice Awards. Jessica Alba showed up at the awards toting the new Coach Daphne Straw Top Handle Bag. Apparently Hollywood’s sexy A-lister saw beauty in this new tote which shows off imported straw with python, suede, leather and canvas trim. While it seems like this list of trims might be over-powering, Coach has a way of adding subtle details to make this bag anything but subtle. On the inside there is a zip pocket, multi-purpose pocket, and satin lining. Like I mentioned before, with all the different trims and textures, the outside is the focus of the bag. On the outside there are also two front pockets with turnlock closures and two side pockets also with turnlock closures. The bag measures 12 (L) x 9 (H) x 4 1/2 (W). Take a cue from Jessica Alba and buy this beauty for $698 via Coach.

Chloe Medium Gladys Tote

The people at Chloe need to realize that their bags have all made their way into my heart. My heart goes pitter-patter and my wallet becomes a bit lighter. The Chloe Medium Gladys Tote presents itself as a subdued beauty with bright colors and zipped compartments for usability. While pictures do not usually portray the texture of the bag, this picture shows the bags’ supple olive leather. I can imagine the leather to feel divine by the looks of it. The color of the leather is called olive, but upon first glance this bag looked more like gold and silver leather. Either way, the style is what gets me- the color I can work with. The tote is accented with silver metal hardware and there is an ID tag on the side. There is something about lots of compartments that is appealing to me, even though I typically don’t use them. This bag has four front zip compartments for you to play around with. Overall, the tote measures 10 1/2″H x 15″W x 5 3/4″D. If someone from Chloe realizes how much I love their bags, they are more than welcome to send me a ’sample’- it would be put to great use

. Buy this bag via Bergdorf Goodman for $1800.

Botkier Bombay Tote

What lady does not need a big brown bag? And no, I’m not talking about the Bloomingdale’s bag, although that is always nice to have also. While oversized totes sometimes seem to be never-ending in capacity, many of you know that you need a huge bag for all your ‘things’, especially if you have kids. What mother out there does not carry a few small toys, crayons, random medicine, candy and treats, etc? A new option for a must-have big bag is the Botkier Bombay Tote. The tote is meticulously made of soft Italian goatskin leather and is further shown off with antiqued brass hardware. While this bag could have been too simple to give it more than one glance, Botkier spiced the bag up with wraparound straps, simple stud detailing, and a leather tassel (which is removable for those of you who think it is too much). The inside is spacious to fill all the goodies you need to travel with to keep everyone around you realizing you are ready for anything at anytime. Overall the bag measures 13″ x 20″ x 8″; I didn’t lie- it really is big!! Buy it through eLuxury for $540.

Celine Clandestine Frame Bag

If you were lucky like me, you got to experience the gorgeous weather this weekend and spend some time with people you love. My sister came into town and we went out to a great dinner Friday night and spent all day shopping on Saturday. I think I am officially addicted to jeans of any length, style, cut, and designer. I got a really cute pair of Chip and Pepper cropped shorts. To me one of the best accents for a pair of jeans is a bag. Come on, would you expect me to suggest anything else? For a casual everyday look, a chic and simple bag will do the trick. The Celine Clandestine Frame Bag manifests itself in a frame shape with a pale pink leather outside which is the perfect feminine touch. There is gold hardware to accent the pale pink leather. There is a front pocket with a popper fastening which adds a distinctive touch. While the bag is nothing to call home about right away, the subtle beauty seems to be alluring. Other features include a vertical zip pocket on the front, two straps, a zip pocket on the inside along with black lining, and a purse clasp closure on the top. I can’t say that this is the perfect bag for me, but it sure is cute. Buy it through Net-A-Porter for $1395.

Prada Straw and Leather Frame Bag

When I see a bag with straw, it shouts out sunshine and pina coladas. Right now the warm spring and even warmer summer is just upon the horizon and it is all I want to be thinking about. To get me in a sunshine state of mind is the Prada Straw and Leather Frame Bag. This frame shaped bag shows off a woven straw body and is accented with white leather trim. I love the frame shape of the bag along with the buckle details on the straps and logo plate on the front. Closing up there is a double zip closure. Overall the bag measures 8ВЅ”H X 13″L X 4″W. Can’t you see it paired with a perfectly cute flowered summer dress and a rockin’ pair of shades?? Yay for summer. Go on and buy yourself a little piece of summer love for $1160 via Saks.

Fendi Beaded Canvas Spy

I know, I know, I know. I have beaten the Spy bag ordeal like a dead horse. How many Spy’s can there be you might ask? Well, here is yet another. The Fendi Beaded Canvas Spy consists of mainly canvas and then is accented with intricately placed colorful beaded embroidery on the front and the back of the bag. There is something about this bag when I look at it that looks kind of fun and then one minute later looks like a mess. The top handles and wristlet are made of white woven leather and there is the infamous Spy flap closure with a hidden coin purse. On the inside there is canvas lining. The bag measures 10″H X 17″L X 6″W. I’m not trying to take credit or play-down the fact that embroidering beads is easy, but for the price of $4590 through Saks I’d rather pass.

(Sorry the picture is so small… Sak’s has the enlarged picture of the back of the bag. Honestly, who wants to view the rear end of a bag??)
