Yesterday was a day full of exploring the Village and SoHo. I am not going to lie; I spent a pretty penny and wished I had quite a few more to spend. The area is lined with store after store of designer goods. I checked out Chanel SoHo to only fall in love with the unpractical and pricey Chanel Luggage. What I did notice was for every posh woman there was a gorgeous bag. I carried my Chloe Paddington Tote proudly but started to drool at an exotic bag I saw. A beautifully tall and skinny blonde lady passed by me quickly carrying a Black Croc Birkin. No lies- it was STUNNING. But I haven’t won the lotto and I can’t afford a beauty like that anytime soon. Is anyone else sweltering hot? I am sure I am not the only one. NYC is so blazing hot that I feel myself melting even as a type this. So rather than get bold and daring with a bright color, I am going to go for a hot black bag. When the Fendi B line was first released I was not sure about it. Like so many other lines, this line has grown on me immensely. The Fendi B. Fendi Patent Trim Shoulder Bag doubles grained leather and patent accents to bring an overall bang to this bag. I stress big bags constantly but having a smaller shoulder bag is just as important. This shoulder bag shows class and a shape and style that I truly believe you cannot go wrong with. The two patent buckles on the front have aged brass double F tabs and the shoulder strap is patent with brass chain links. I can’t get over the beauty of this bag; snap me out of this craze if I am wrong. This bag that has caught my eye has fine canvas lining, an interior patch pocket, and measures 12.5″ x 8″ x 3″. I need to save $1210 and buy this bag through eLuxury.

Last night was a semi-electric scare for me. Most of the world is experiencing this unbelievable heat wave and I went to an apartment that was 95 degrees with no electric last night. First I wanted to cry, then I chilled out a bit and sat there looking at my toes and realizing I needed a pedicure, and 4 hours later the power was back on. YAY! This ordeal warrants a new bag (so kidding, but that would be nice).

Chloe has been striking gold in the world on handbags, first with the Paddington then with the Edith. The next version on the block is the Chloe Large Edith Satchel. This version of the Edith is a satchel style in lush chamois leather. Silver metal hardware and top handles finishing off the main additions to this beauty. My favorite parts are the drawstring gussets, the slouchy and roomy shape, and the thick tonal topstitching. Other features are the already known side buckled details, leather tassel pull tab, and a front buckled strap. Overall this beauty measures 7 1/2″H x 15″W x 7″D. I love it.
